Description: Aldec Inc. is seeking to fill a Corporate Application Engineer position. The successful candidate will be experienced in digital design (FPGA or ASIC) to support Aldec’s VHDL/Verilog simulation and verification products.
Responsibilities: Aldec’s mixed VHDL/Verilog/SystemC simulation and verification products are used by thousands of FPGA designers worldwide. The Applications Engineer will develop and deliver customer trainings, product demonstrations, technical documentation, provide remote and on-site troubleshooting of the customer’s issues, serve as a liaison between Aldec’s R&D center and the customer.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of the industry experience is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of FPGA or ASIC based design.
- VHDL and Verilog - excellent knowledge of at least one, preferably both.
- Knowledge of Unix shell scripting, Tcl and/or PERL is a big plus.
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog, ABV, UVM is a big plus.
- Self starter with excellent communication/presentation and technical writing skills.

Requirements:

Description: The successful candidate will be experienced in evaluating a large-scale software product in the area of electronic design automation,assuring software quality, and analyzing the product from a user’s perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and maintaining various kinds of automated tests for a long-term software project (acceptance tests, regression tests, benchmarks).
- Providing continuous quality and usability feedback to developers.
- Preparing feature specifications, test plans.
- Preparing product samples and presentation materials.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of at least one of the hardware description language: VHDL, Verilog HDL, SystemVerilog.
- Understanding principles of digital design, simulation and synthesis.
